Most pundits agree: Roger should have kept his mouth shut. Or fired his lawyers. Or both. Clemens opened a can of worms following the release of baseball's Mitchell Report, in which his name was mentioned 82 times, by going on a public relations rampage, certain that his good reputation and stout denial of wrongdoing would clear him of any and all allegations of steroids use. They didn't. Clemens now faces possible perjury charges and the cringe-worthy publicizing of a far-less-than-perfect private life, including revelations that he had a long-term "relationship" with country music singer Mindy McCready that began when she was 15. Former teammate Andy Pettitte, also named in the Mitchell Report, faced the music right away and got on with his life, something Clemens probably wishes he had done. Instead—and impossibly—Clemens has supplanted Barry Bonds as the face of baseball's steroids problem. This is one adversary Clemens won't easily strike out.

Man the news about Mindy was a joke too- She is a drug addict- not someone you want to be associated with.

Makes the Yankees look bad- as if they aren't doing that themselves with their play this year!

He has always been a very arrogant man. So arrogant that he would go to the point of making himself look ridiculous just so he wouldn't have to admit he cheated. Too bad that a man with such talent had to resort to these things.
