John McCain's campaign manager says Barack Obama played the race card when he criticized the Republican presidential candidate's tactics.

With all the hype going on with this Presidential election of 2008, there is a controversal, yet possibily valid question on people's minds, "Is Barack playing the race card?" Check out this video and post your comments below:

Obama didn't have to play the race card. The United States started playing it long before he was a glimmer in his mother's eye.

It`s really hard to say. In some ways it could be taken as racist. But I don`t think that Mccain is the one that is trying to scare people away from Obama. I think the people themselves are afriad because of the fact that he is the first african american to run for the presidency. That and having the muslim relgion attached to him scares people too. He wasn`t raised a radical muslim. he was raised a baptist. I am a white american and I ma voting for Obama. I like what he says and I beleive that he is the better choice.

I think Obama is using his race in order to get votes. People are so afraid to say anything negative about him because they might be called racist. Even if people say they won't vote for him because they think Obama lacks the experience to be president they are labeled as being racist. You cannot say anything bad about Obama because he's black even if you're criticizing his politics.
