An American tourist was charged with murder in Australia on Friday for allegedly drowning his wife during a honeymoon dive on the Greet Barrier Reef.Police immediately began preparing a warrant for the arrest of the suspect, Daniel Gabriel Watson of Birmingham, Alabama — the first step in what are likely to be drawn-out extradition proceedings.


Watson faces a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted of murder. His lawyer did not immediately enter a plea, but he has argued that the evidence does not support any criminal charge and that police have seemed intent on blaming him anyway.

yeah i saw this on 20/20 once a long time ago. of course he did it the sicko, but what i dont understand is what was his motive? they couldnt figure that out either, so they werent sure if the husband did it or not. you hear alot of cases where people get married then they kill the wife, or the wife kills the husband. like im so sure any insurance company is going to pay out when you were only married for like a couple days or a week or 2, if you hate eachother enough to kill eachother, dont get married, duh!
