I about hit the freaking roof when I first heard about this bailout of financial criminals here in America. This is about the most retarded thing I have ever heard Washington plan to do.

I wouldn't mind so much if the bail outs started with all of those CEO's that made off with huge salaries had to give up all of their cash and assets, to be applied to the bailout!

I agree. While the CEOs are sitting at home in their nice plush chairs, eating their good food and drinking their expensive wines, the rest of us have to worry and work our ass off to pay for their mistakes. Something does need to be done though, but does it have to be at our expense?

I agree about the leadership of the corporations in question, but I disagree about the corporations themselves.

the CEO's who were acting irresponsibly should be fired, no question, but the entire economy should not suffer because of a few knuckle heads

This is an unacceptable thing.But there are no options left to prevent the economy from crumbling.Less evil is better than more evil.

Todays paper looks a little more promising. Now they are agreeing to raise the insurance on banks to $250,000 instead of $100,000. And 100 billion in tax breaks. But I haven`t read it all yet. So I don`t know who the tax breaks are for.

I did see the stock go up 500 points yesterday!
That was very encouraging, I must say.

Maybe something really good will come out of this after all!

There are options out there, but this is what the fat cats want. I say to hell with them, I would not give them a dime and I have let my state reps. know how I feel about it.
