A friend of mine was stewing about cleaning her house and mentioned the following in a joking manner. But I can imagine there are some people who are not so bright so for them I am saying that "Cleaning your Outlets with a water pick" is not a smart idea....lol

LOL! I wonder if there are any warnings like that on actual outlets packaging??

Cleaning an outlet with a water pick? I can't imagine there are that many people who have ever done that. I can see people sticking stuff in outlets but not a water pick. If you are done enough to think of that you are probably to lazy to actually go through the trouble let alone even own a water pick.

So its not the same thing, BUT
I have seen on the outlet boxes DO NOT LET WATER COME IN CoNTACT WITH OUTLET, DO NOT USE AROUND SPLASHING WATER
and one that I found in a cleaning manual: DO not insert cleaner into clogged outlet holes without first turining off power....
