Has anyone lost money doing Amway? My husband has... We also know a guy who'd gotten $40K in debt because of it. Mind you, I do not say that *all* network marketing companies are bad, but this one certainly is!

Wow I can't believe people still are using that junk. This has been a known loser for a long time and I didn't even think it was still around. Guess if people are dumb enough to buy in they might as well keep going.

Amway has changed its name because of too much negativity associated with it, they are called something else now, but yes, they are still around I believe.

I know many people who have lost money with Amway, but also know some who have made money with it as well. I guess some people do well and others do not.

The way their system works makes it very, very hard to succeed, especially for a newbie. Example: you have to accumulate a certain amount of points every week or month (don't know for sure) to cash out; if you have not reached the required number, your points are flushed and you get nothing. I think that's just not fair. The points should roll over to the next week / month, you have earned them.
