"George Bush doesn't care about black people." That comment, uttered on live television in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, was the way much of America was introduced to Kanye West. The then up-and-coming hip-hop star and producer was already well known among rap fans and colleagues, but if he wasn't a household name everywhere else, he certainly became one after vilifying the president. West's music talent is undeniable—as evidenced by his numerous Grammy awards, top-selling albums, and exceptional praise from the likes of Sean "Diddy" Combs. But Kanye's biggest fan seems to be Kanye himself. When nominated for best album in 2006, he proclaimed that he'd "really have a problem" if he didn't win the Grammy. (He didn't.) Again in 2006, when his video for "Touch the Sky" failed to win at the MTV Europe Video Music Awards, he crashed the stage during Justice's acceptance speech and complained like a spurned child. Did we mention Kanye posed as Jesus, with a crown of thorns and everything, on the cover of Rolling Stone? The list goes on …

he sure did say it right, george, you suck!! he has made americans, hate america. and thats sad. what about all that junk about freedom, and freedom of speech, and the right to the persuit of happiness. what we are now, most of us, are just in persuit of survival! anybody ever heard that song by pink, "dear mr, president" i dont think anybody could have said it better.

I don`t think he hates americans. He just doesn`t care for the poor working class that are struggling to survive. He only cares about the rich people.

It may be true, if its true. It is going to bring bad name for the president. I want presidents to consider and care for all people.
