Near Dick's home in rural Jackson, Wyo., a bumper sticker reads "Cheney Skis in Jeans." (Translation: only a hack wears jeans on the slopes.) Poor guy. Our beloved vice president, a tireless public servant since Gerald Ford's administration, is a target of criticism wherever he goes, from big cities to small towns to the myriad "undisclosed locations" he hunkers down in during times of national crisis. Rumored to be the Bush Administration's "man behind the curtain," Cheney is directly blamed by many for everything from the Iraq war to global warming to 9/11. These would be bad enough, but what's really cringe-worthy is the wry smile Cheney wears as he goes about his business, a look that says I've been in office for eight years and you haven't. Neener, neener, neener.
