Senator Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, after it became a state on August 21st, 1959. Obama became a citizen at birth under the first section of the 14th Amendment

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Why is the Certificate Number blacked-out? Why does it not state "Birth Certificate?"
Do the numbers on the bottom-right corner actually correspond to Obama himself? Or someone-else?

If you look closely in the center of the document about 3/4 down from the top you will see a blue smudge.

This is the notary seal --- they do not scan, Notary seals are an impression or a crimp in the paper, not inked.

This birth certificate has been proven to be fake by the government. Obama will have to prove a real birth certificate if he wants to still be in the running for president.
