This month Senator Barack Obama clinched the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. In doing so, Obama made history as the first African American nominee of a major political party.

As can be predicted by this country's record of race relations, Obama, his camp, and - unfortunately - his family are default targets for the ever-present undertones of racial discrimination in these United States.

During a segment Wednesday discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, Fox News Channel described the the Senator's wife of 16 years as "Obama's baby mama." The description was displayed on-screen several times during the segment, which featured anchor Megyn Kelly and conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, an FNC contributor.

Michelle Obama, a lawyer and graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, has come under fire for a comment she made in February, while on the campaign trail for her husband:

"For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback," she said.

Conservative groups and political pundits immediately jumped on the quip, branding her as unpatriotic. She later explained the comment as a reference to the surge of involvement in the political process among the public.

Whats wrong with that? She is his babies' mama? isn't she or whould they prefer Obamas baby mother??? I don't get it at least they aren't calling that bitch Obama's Ho.
Maybe instead of first lady she's going to change the title to first nubian princess.
