FROM BARACK OBAMA'S WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTER:
On the issue of tax policy, Barack contrasted his proposals with John McCain's:
I want to provide a tax cut for 95 percent of Americans, 95 percent. If you make less than a quarter million dollars a year, you will not see a single dime of your taxes go up. If you make $200,000 a year or less, your taxes will go down.
.... Now, in contrast, Senator McCain wants to give a $300 billion tax cut to -- 200 of it to the largest corporations and $100 billion of it going to people like CEOs on Wall Street. He wants to give the average Fortune 500 CEO an additional $700,000 in tax cuts.
That is not fair, and it doesn't work.
