Default Barack: Message from the debate

FROM BARACK OBAMA'S WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTER:

Barack just sent out the following message:
I just finished my first debate with John McCain.

Millions of Americans finally got a chance to see us take on the fundamental choice in this election -- the change we need or more of the same.

I will provide tax cuts for the middle class, affordable health care, and a new energy economy that creates millions of jobs. John McCain wants to keep giving huge tax cuts to corporations, and he offered no solutions for the challenges Americans are facing in their daily lives.

I will end the war in Iraq responsibly, focus on defeating al Qaeda and the Taliban, and restore America's standing in the world after eight years of disastrous policies. John McCain wants an unending commitment in Iraq and fails to recognize the resurgent threat in Afghanistan.

Let's be clear: John McCain is offering nothing but more of the same failed Bush policies at home and abroad that he has supported more than 90% of the time in the Senate.

Americans need change now, and I need your help to get the word out about this movement.

In the coming days, it's going to be up to you to organize locally and reach the voters that are going to decide this election.

Now's the time to make your voice heard.

Will you make a donation to support this campaign for change?

Thank you for all that you're doing,

Barack

No I won't donate to his campaign. I personally think a lot of what he said in the debate was garbage. To me McCain made much more sense. Obama has not been to Afghanistan yet he wants to send more troops- he is the leader of the sub-committee.

I am not donating either
I am not supporting either of the candidates at the voting booth

additionally, they both seem to have ample donations from people that are well-off financially. Especially Obama.

Well, the point is we were attacked from Afghanistan on 911, not Iraq.

The present number of USA troops in Iraq= about 144,000

The present number of USA troops in Afghanistan= 35,000

If someone shoots at you from the blue house, you don't start shooting back at the red house. It's common sense. Yet, the Bush administration did precisely that and, with McCain's plans, this would continue on and on.

While the Afghani Taliban resurgence continues to grow and Bin Laden is still believed to be in Pakistan, along the Afghanistan border.

What really amazes me is that, after five years, people still don't get that very simple fact. It's like to them, it's all about cheering for their political party like it's a baseball game, without ever looking and seeing.
