In the United States alone, the “Y-Generation” accounts for 70 million consumers and spend approximately $172 billion per year, so it’s no wonder that a marketing professor at Bentley College wanted to
survey a bunch of students to understand how they (or we) think about companies going green. Some of the results, however, are a bit surprising: the study showed perception is that Toyota, Honda, and Whole Food are the greenest brands, while Exxon Mobil, Hummer, and Ford came in as the least green brands.
