Another stingray has died at the Calgary Zoo as zoo officials say visitor tampering doesn't appear to have led to the deaths of the 35 creatures. Late yesterday morning, a 35th cownose ray succumbed to a mysterious condition that first struck them in the petting tank on Sunday, said zoo conservation director Cathy Gaviller.Eight remain and given the trauma all had suffered, "they're certainly not out of the woods yet," she said.
